Job description

This course is especially designed for medical doctors, medical students and paramedics who plan to conduct a clerkship in an English speaking country or doctors and paramedics who are interested in working in England or USA.

Training target

This course provides an introduction to medical English with the focus on the first contact with a patient who needs medical assistance and also vocabulary needed for taking the patient history in an emergency situation as well as for conducting a comprehensive patient history. Human body functions and symptoms will be presented as well as questions that can be used in interviewing in doctors practice or in the hospital.

Good basic knowledge is necessary (even if your English knowledge has become a little rusty!). This course is not appropriate for beginners.
