Energy efficiency know-how in demand in Taiwan
The know-how of the TÜV NORD Group regarding energy efficiency of buildings is also in demand in international markets: TÜV NORD Systems was invited by the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology to visit the Taiwan International Photovoltaic Forum & Exhibition 2009 in Taipei to present the subject of energy efficiency on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. The invitation was based on the Ministry's objective of supporting German industry in exporting renewable energy technology along with technologies and services related to energy efficiency - thus making a contribution to climate protection.
The TÜV NORD Group has had a presence in Taiwan since 1988 through its subsidiary TÜV Asia Pacific, a company focusing on quality management, safety, security and also information and environmental technology.
