TÜV NORD Group rises in the rankings
Hanover: The TÜV NORD Group has improved its ranking among the largest companies in Lower Saxony, rising from 11th to 7th position. According to an analysis by NORD/LB bank, it has now moved into the group of top ten companies from the point of view of economic strength. The figures which have now been published are based on 2008, and the yardstick used is that of value creation - in other words wages and salaries paid, social security and pension contributions and also taxes and profit for the year.
"This is a considerable improvement, and is a result of our consistent strategy for the business", says Dr. Guido Rettig, Executive Board Chairman of the TÜV NORD Group. He expects that in the coming years the TÜV NORD Group will become firmly established within the group of the ten strongest companies.
