"Qualification leads progress" is more than just a philosophy
TÜV NORD Akademie is a success story extending back over 25 years. "An anniversary which spurs us on to continue developing what we will offer to our clients over the next decades. It all started in 1985 with a handful of seminars from the traditional fields of work of the TÜV, when the organisation was established based on the work of TÜV inspectors. It was no longer enough for the plant and equipment in factories and workshops to function perfectly in itself – technical staff also had to be well informed and able to meet ever stricter technical requirements. At first, the most popular courses were those leading to qualifications in the areas of pressure vessels, waste disposal, water conservation and maintenance and servicing of lifts.
Over the years, a comprehensive range of education and training has developed out of these individual training courses. In addition to the area of technical safety, which of course continues to be very important, quality management, company and business management, environmental protection, logistics and occupational health and safety are playing an ever more significant role.
Today, TÜV NORD Akademie is one of the largest training organisations in Germany, offering more than 350 different training courses and more than 4,000 events on an annual basis. At the moment, 106 members of staff at 21 locations are concerned with the requirements of more than 45,000 course participants each year. "We are focused on the needs of our clients", says Dreckschmidt. This means that we have to know them well and always be close by."
Clients of TÜV NORD Akademie can look forward to special anniversary offers. For every 250th registration there is a credit note for 250 Euro.
