Load securing competence is in demand: Ukrainian transport companies trust TÜV NORD Mobilität
A properly secured load is one of the prerequisites for a safe truck trip. The largest Ukrainian transport carriers' association recognises this.
Michael Ebsen, load safety expert at TÜV NORD Mobility, discussed the standard in Germany with more than 400 guests from Ukraine and other Central and Eastern European and CIS countries.
Damage to cargo or the vehicle can be caused during loading and unloading alone by drivers or due to load securing ability. That was the challenge for an entrepreneur, who sought advice from TÜV NORD Mobility shortly after the event. The company transports farm machinery from Germany to Eastern Europe. It happened on several occasions that the transport vehicle was damaged during loading. With his team, Michael Ebsen analysed the load in Germany and developed proposals for solutions. These are now being applied with great success.
The use of the digital control unit aroused great interest among congress participants. Here, too, forwarders need support – precisely because sanctions in other states are significantly higher than in Germany, sometimes several thousand euros. Therefore, the correct handling of the control device, maintenance, and support are essential for the economic success of a transport company. TÜV NORD Mobility will again work together with transport companies from Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the near future.
