On behalf of the responsible authorities, the company carries out safety assessments and testing for approval and supervisory procedures required under nuclear energy regulations.
Besides research and development orders, the range of tasks extends to technical safety, the operating characteristics of plants and on to the analysis of fault procedures. TÜV NORD EnSys Hannover also provides engineering services for technical tasks in a wide range of industrial facilities.
The company’s international involvement is being extended in connection with the development of nuclear technology abroad in conjunction with the sister company TÜV NORD SysTec under the name TÜV NORD Nuclear.
