Medical and Psychological Institute (MPI)
The transport medical specialists and psychologists of the Medical and Psychological Institute (MPI) assess road-users fairly and impartially in case of reservations regarding their driving ability and capability on public roads, for example as part of Medical and Psychological Examinations (MPU) or medical assessments. Driving license regulations also cover examinations for professional drivers of trucks, buses and taxis, as well as the frequently required abstinence confirmations.
The expertise of such highly qualified medical specialists and psychologists has recently been attracting increasing demand from businesses (for example for shift planning, human factor analysis, personnel consultation, fear-of-flying training). Examinations for electric wheelchair capability on behalf of health insurers form a further focal point of the company’s activities.
