VdTÜV Nuclear technology forum offers platform for discussion
Hamburg/Berlin: High Quality – A Challenge: This is the watchword of the 3rd VdTÜV forum on nuclear technology, to take place on 15 and 16 March in Berlin. The main focus of the event is on information and discussion - handling both specific technical subjects and also more general questions from the area of nuclear plants. The speakers come from organisations and institutions which are active in the area of nuclear technology. The main emphasis of the lectures and discussions is on quality requirements: during plant erection, for organisation, during long-term operation of nuclear power plants, for equipment retrofit and also for disposal and final storage.
The VdTÜV Nuclear Technology Forum has become an established platform for an open exchange of information and ideas. Participants include representatives from regulatory and supervisory bodies, operators of nuclear power plants and research reactors, appraisal and inspection organisations and also manufacturers and suppliers. The Forum has been organised each year since 2008 by the VdTÜV (Association of Technical Inspection Agencies) in close cooperation with the TÜV NORD Group and TÜV SÜD.
