Certified proof of origin
TÜV NORD has awarded the "Made in Germany" certificate to the steam boiler manufacturer VKK Standardkessel Köthen GmbH. By issuing the certified proof of origin, TÜV NORD testifies that the company's products are primarily made in Germany.
"With around 220 employees, a large number of whom have worked for the company for many years and – this was our impression – identify closely with it, production only takes place in Germany. All the main processes of the company are firmly based here in Köthen. In the course of this certification we felt that in your company, you not only fulfil the standards upon which your success is based, but set the standards yourself", explained Guido Rettig, Management Board Chairman of TÜV NORD Group, when presenting the certificate to Lothar Velde, Chief Executive of VKK Standardkessel.
VKK Standardkessel Köthen GmbH supplies steam and hot water boilers all over the world for industrial cogeneration plants and energy supply companies. The steam boiler installations are an essential part of the power supply centres, for example in the automotive, paper, textile and food industries and also the chemical industry.
"With the certified proof of origin "Made in Germany", we want to show our German customers that we are established here and will also stand alongside them in future as a partner at our locations in Köthen and Duisburg. And on a global level, the seal of quality will strengthen our exports", said Velde.
