TÜV NORD Group is participating in the climate protection action programme: 100 eco driving training courses in Hamburg to be won
Hamburg: You can win one of 100 "Environmental driving" training seminars with the TÜV NORD Group.
The company is involved in the "Climate Protection for Hamburg" event. The aim is to show drivers how to drive in an efficient and economical manner. Anybody with a class 3 (B) driving license and willing to invest half a day for the training course can participate. The driving training courses take place in both the mornings and afternoons between March 5 and 7 and 10 and 14. If more than 100 people register by Friday, February 22, the participants will be decided by draw.
Both climate protection and increasing road safety are the organiser's primary objectives. Saving fuel reduces CO2 emissions, efficiency and ecology go hand in hand. Furthermore, forward-looking driving can increase road safety and lower vehicle wear and tear.
The training course starts with the Eco-Consult instructors with a so-called initial drive. Participants drive in their accustomed style in the vehicle provided. Following a theory lesson on economical and ecological driving style, the participants once again complete the same route as in the initial drive. The fuel consumption is determined for both drives.
Anybody registering before Friday, February 22 can participate. If more than 100 people register, the participants will be decided by draw. There is no legal recourse. Eco-Consult and TÜV NORD Group employees and their relatives and friends are not permitted to take part. Participants will be informed in writing.
You can get information on the event at the TÜV NORD Mobility TÜV STATIONS in and around Hamburg and on the Internet by logging onto http://www.tuev-nord.de/downloads/ECO-Flyer.pdf. You can also apply here as well.
