TÜV HELLAS’ client list includes some of the major hospitals of Greece, as well as the innovative “Mesogeios Centre”, the first and only Holiday Dialysis Centre operating in Greece.

Poland

TÜV NORD Polska was given one of the main roles in the Third International Symposium Evidence-Based Health Care (EBM) "Rational behind the reforms" in Cracow, in November 2008. In co-operation with the head organising institution, Central and Eastern European Society of Technology Assessment in Health Care (CEESTAHC), TÜV NORD prepared the session “EBM/HTA in ISO System”. The aim of this session was to present and confirm the strong relationship between ISO rules and technology assessment in health sector using the EBM dictionary being popular for medical professionals. The lack of this knowledge was one of the weaknesses of the technology development. It will change the mode of searching and implementation of the new technologies in medicine based on strong and controlled data and rational procedures.

United Kingdom

Support for AE & E Lentjes
TÜV UK is the preferred provider for many services including Health and Safety Support, Engineering Consultancy and Engineering Inspection. Over the last three years TÜV UK have been involved at Ferrybridge, Rugeley and Fiddler’s Ferry Power Stations providing support services on a regular basis, during the construction of Fuel Gas Desulphurisation Plants (FGD) under the Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM). Similar support was also provided during the construction of a new Energy from Waste plant at Allington in Kent and an FGD Plant at Moneypoint in the Republic of Ireland managed by Lentjes for the Irish Electricity Board. AE & E Lentjes are part of the Austrian Energy Group including Von Roll Inova and MMI who have current and proposed contracts in Hull, Brighton and South London.
Fortum O & M
Fortum O & M is an Energy Company from Finland, presently with several Operating and Maintenance contracts in the UK. TÜV UK provides Engineering Health and Safety Services, including consultancy, support, engineering inspection and accident / incident investigations. Currently TÜV cover their assets at Grangemouth; Hythe; Allington; Lakeside and Sulloom Voe on the Shetland Islands.
