Please not that the transition periods, the requirement for unannounced audits and the possibilities for remote audits and training for the IFS Food Standard Version 7 are determined as follows:

• The IFS Food standard version 7 can be applied and audited from 01.03.2021.
• From 01.07.2021 the implementation of IFS Food Version 7 is mandatory.

Global Food Safety Initiative GFSI has published version 2020 of the Benchmarking Requirements. In it, the requirements for all GFSI-recognised standards are formulated. For all companies certified according to IFS or BRCGS, unannounced audits will become mandatory. We have compiled everything you need to know about unannounced audits on this website.
