1993 | On 1 May 1993 establishment of the company as a limited liability company i.e. GmbH in Germany with headquarters in Nordhausen by the managing partners Dr Ferdinand Herms and Horst Sülzle. The company was launched with staff and equipment from the development department of the IFA Motorenwerke Nordhausen on their premises at the Lokomotiven Strasse 22 site. The experienced development engineers, measurement technicians and mechanics have extensive expertise between them, based on large-volume production of diesel and gas engines for automotive, industrial and marine applications. Constituting the main line of business: Experimental R&D achievements in the areas of combustion engines; drives, energy and environmental technology. In the state of Thuringia the company operates as a “leading research centre for applied technology in commerce“. |
