Keynote speakers from DAkkS and VdTÜV
This year’s certification days started very digital with an online welcome speech from our CEO Dr. Ing. Dirk Stenkamp, who emphasizes the importance of digitalization, accreditation and regulation and security 4 safety. He outlined the good cooperation with authorities such as DAkkS and VdTÜV.
As keynote speakers three high-level representatives attended the TÜV NORD Certification Days: Dr. Stephan Finke, Managing Director of the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS), Dr. Ing. Joachim Bühler, Managing Director of the VdTÜV and Nils Schröder, Advisory Board Chairman of the Certification Bodies of the Business Unit Industrial Services. All three experts complimented the international exchange and the profound lectures, held by always one representative from the national and international certification business.
Accreditation and regulation management of Business Unit Industrial Services
During the Certification Days, the issues of accreditation and regulation management of the Industry Service division could also be discussed. The representatives of the certification body will continue to be responsible for these two topics for the harmonized implementation within the companies.
"The meeting follows the path we have taken to implement the topics of digitization and innovation together with the accreditation authorities and thus to meet customer requirements in the age of Industry 4.0. Especially the standards for digitization and functional safety must be internationally recognized", said Dr. Klaus Oberste Lehn, who has invited as patron of the event.
