In February a joint meeting of the Cluster Asia members of OBS System Certification and OBS Food took place in Hanoi. Topics included growth opportunities in the new OBS structure, the current financial result and the future strategy including jointly developed measures.
On the first day there were presentations on these topics, as well as on IRCA-courses. On the second day the participants were called upon to become more actively involved: In workshops the participants dealt with the topics "Strategy & Action Plan 2019-2021: Core Process for Business Development, Sales, Operation and Quality Control in System Certification" and "Key metrics measure". In a second workshop case studies on the topics "Cross Selling & Up Selling" and "Market driven approach" were conducted.
Cluster manager Robert Napitupulu was very satisfied with the results of the meeting: "Basically, this meeting aimed to look more deeply into the correlation of sales-operation-quality as the cornerstone in our day-to-day System Certification business. Aggressive sales with professional handling of operations and backed by strict quality control is, for me, the only approach to guarantee sustainable growth in this very demanding Asian market”.
