Wind Resource Prognosis and Full Bankable AEP Reports

In the context of project planning, the site-specific wind potential not only provides the basis for the generation of bankable yield assessments in the context of financing, but also the basis for assessing the site suitability including the assessment of losses.

DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited

As a testing laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 we actively participate in the subject-specific committees and are involved in the development of guidelines. The assessment of the long-term wind conditions and the forecast of the energy yields of the planned wind turbines is carried out using recognized analysis methods. The technical guideline for wind turbines, Part 6 "Determination of wind potential and energy yields" (TR6) of the FGW e.V. - Fördergesellschaft Windenergie and other decentralized energies in the most recent revision is taken as a basis.

CFD-models for complex sites

Complex locations require complex models. For wind turbine sites that are planned in mountainous terrain, the wind potential and the expected energy yield are additionally determined on the basis of three-dimensional, non-linear flow models, so-called CFD models (Computational Fluid Dynamics). We check the available database in accordance with the requirements of the TR6 and further applicable guidelines such as IEC 61400-1, IEC 61400-12-1 and advise you on the complex specifications and relationships regarding your wind farm planning.

Full bankable AEP reports

Finally, our bankable AEP reports contain a detailed analysis of the uncertainties. In the case of, for example, immission control regulations (protection of species, shadow flicker or sound immission, etc.), we also calculate the anticipated energy yield losses accordingly.
