Food Germany hosts a yearly foodcongress which took place in 2019 on October 30th in Cologne. Top speakers from the fields of veterinary medicine, hygienic design and the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety informed TÜV NORD CERT clients about the latest findings and implementation measures.

The following lectures had been part of the agenda this year:

  • Contents and implementation of Regulation EG 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria
  • Hygienic Design - Requirements for the design of machines using the example of conveyor belts and taking into account the latest EHEDG guidelines
  • Validation and verification of metal and X-ray systems
  • Preventive measures to avoid foreign bodies
  • The fight against food fraud from the point of view of the BVL Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety by a speaker of the office.
