The TÜV NORD CERT sustainability division has acquired a number of contracts for European emissions trading verifications: RWE Generation SE and RWE Power AG have commissioned us with the verification of application for the allocation of GHG-Emission-Rights and the verification of the annual emission reports. At Evonik Industries AG / Infracor Marl we will carry out a verification of the annual emission reports. In European emissions trading, a new trading period with new rules begins in 2021 and there will be a fresh start in the market once again. The above customers have now placed orders up to and including 2025 (RWE) and 2030 (Infracor), respectively.

The International Sales team from Germany has won a major order in cooperation with the Management Systems Ruhr-Ost division: Knauf Insulation commissioned us with certification according to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001. Knauf Insulation is the insulation materials specialist of the Knauf Group, one of the leading manufacturers of building materials.

The Cluster D-CH has received a new major order from Kostal. We carried out the first surveillance audit for IATF and will recertify the company according to IATF/14001/45001 for the period 2019 to 2021. The Kostal Group is a globally active, independent family business headquartered in Lüdenscheid, Germany, which develops and manufactures electronic and mechatronic products. Around 18,000 employees work at 46 locations in 21 countries.

TÜV NORD Polska has signed a contract with BASF POLSKA for certification according to IATF 16949. At the same time, BASF plants in Germany manufacturing catalytic converters will also be subject to IATF 16949 audits by TÜV NORD CERT. Currently, the factory in Poland employs 540 people and its primary activity is designing and manufacturing catalytic converters for passenger cars, vans and lorries.

TÜV NORD Czech has received a major order from ŠKODA AUTO to extend its previous certification. The company will be certified according to the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, VDA 6.1 and VDA 6.4. In addition, the new standard ISO 27001 has been added for one department. The Czech automobile and engine manufacturer ŠKODA AUTO has been a customer of TÜV NORD since 1996.

TÜV NORD CERT has won an ISMS contract with Volkswagen Slovakia and will certify the company according to ISO 27001. Having already carried out IMS audits at Volkswagen Slovakia in the past, the scope of our activities has now been considerably expanded.

TÜV NORD Greater China has received a new major order from Beijing Benz Automotive: We carry out second party audits according to VDA 6.3 for the years 2019 to 2022. Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd (BBAC), a joint venture of Daimler and its Chinese partner BAIC Motor, produces front-wheel and rear-wheel drive vehicles as well as engines. BBAC is part of the global production network of the C-Class. The best-selling Mercedes-Benz model series is also produced at BBAC in a long-wheelbase version for China.

TISAX is developing very promisingly internationally: From December 2018 until now there have been 71 inquiries/acquisitions/contacts for TISAX offers. 19 offers are in the "pipeline" (in the bidding process) and three orders have been placed (in Turkey, Romania, Czech Republic). The international cooperation with the national companies in advancing the sales activities in the search for and appointment of auditors is excellent. With the three ordners, three TISAX co-auditors can become potential lead auditors thanks to the mentoring concept, which significantly accelerates the roll-out.
