Test Field Overview

The new UN ECE Regulation R90 for Cyber Security will become mandatory as part of the European type approval for vehicle types. According to the General Safety Regulation, it will be binding as part of the European type approval for new vehicle types from July, 6th 2022 and for the registration of new vehicles (with existing vehicle type approval) from July, 7th 2024.

  • 2 Inertia Dynos, 1 including climatisation
  • Vehicle test; Access to different test tracks; qualified test drivers 
  • Use of manufacturers labs (witness)

Brake Systems Commercial / Rail Way Vehicle

  • 1 Inertia Dyno CV
  • 1 Inertia Dyno CV/RV
  • 1 Brake Cylinder test bench

Passenger and Rail Way Vehicles: We offer testing in our own facilities as well as visits to accredidated external labs and manufacturers labs (witness).

Dyno for rail way friction brake components

Our ventilation system comes with pre-conditioned cooling air prepared for climate control - supply air: 15.000 m3/h and exhaust air 16.500 m3/h.

  • Testing of pneumatically and hydraulically operated brakes und dry and wet conditions
  • Friction tests of brake blocks acc. to UIC 541-4 and DIN EN 16452
  • Friction testing for disc brake pads acc. to UIC 541-3
  • Performance and friction testing of brake discs acc. to DIN EN 14535-3
  • Wear, performance and crack tests
  • Tests according to customer specifications within the scope of the test bench specifications
