The operation of wind turbines is inevitably associated with noise emissions, which can affect the environment, particularly the residents in the vicinity.
The forecast of noise emissions is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Technical Instructions on Noise Abatement (TA-Lärm) and the recommendations of the Federal/State Working Group on Immission Control (LAI), always addressing the requirements of the respective federal state within Germany. We are also available to assist with questions regarding the application and handling of the so-called "Interim Procedure," which is recommended in the LAI guidelines adopted in September 2017. The calculations are performed using the WindPRO software with the implemented Decibel module.
In addition to the noise emission forecasts required for approval under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), we are pleased to offer noise propagation calculations combined with site-specific energy yield forecasts, leveraging our expertise in wind and yield assessments. This allows us to determine the most economical operating mode for your wind farm while complying with the applicable emission limit values.
