HARA

Hazard analysis and risk assessment

ISO 26262 and ISO 25119 / DIN EN 16590 provide a structured procedure for a "Hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA)" in order to determine whether a system is a safety-relevant system and, if so, how high the degree of safety relevance is.

Based on a combination of the frequency of occurrence of a hazardous situation, the severity of damage and the controllability, a procedure is defined to determine the ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) in the automotive sector and an AgPL (Agricultural Perfromance Level) in the agricultural and forestry technology sector.

TÜV NORD offers, among other things, the moderation of a corresponding HARA workshop to carry out a HARA.
