The WINSTACC, BESMIN and BESMAX models are used to determine chimney heights in order to be able to make appropriate statements about the free flow of flue gases during system planning.
The statutory regulations and VDI 3781 Sheet 4 are applied. The information sheet on determining chimney heights for TA Luft 2021 and the guidelines for determining minimum chimney heights for data centres with emergency diesel generators are observed. Vegetation, building and terrain influences are taken into account. Specific special cases are discussed in close consultation with the specialist authorities and the proportionality is examined in order to provide appropriate support for individual decisions.
The maximum permissible emission mass flows are determined and the physical and chemical properties of the exhaust gas flow are recorded in comparison with emission values from the statutory international and national regulations, such as the ordinances to the Federal Immission Control Act or administrative regulations (IED Directive, BVT, 13th BImSchV, 17th BImSchV, 44th BImSchV, TA Luft).
