TÜV NORD UMWELTSCHUTZ
For specific projects, it must be ensured that the effects on the environment are identified, described and assessed comprehensively at an early stage. The type of project and its size or output determine whether it falls under the review obligations of the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (EIA Act).
We support project sponsors as well as authorities with our many years of experience and our extensive plant knowledge. We offer site-specific and general preliminary assessments as well as complex environmental impact assessments (EIA) for individual projects.
We identify, describe, and assess the impacts of the project that are relevant to the assessment of the permitting requirements and the assessment of nature conservation and landscape management issues for the protected assets listed in Section 2 of the UVPG. We analyse the framework conditions and forecast the expected environment impacts.
If an EIA is required, we compile relevant the information in an EIA report based on existing planning documents. The report serves as the basis for the permitting authority to carry out the environmental impact assessment. As a decision-relevant document, it contains all essential information for assessing the significant environmental impacts of the project.
Potentially relevant impacts of a project or plan are assessed by our TÜV NORD experts. They provide expert reports on air pollutants, odours, noise emissions and vibrations as well as on water use, species protection and Natura 2000.
