Noise assessments of airports and landing sites

Increasing mobility and the expansion of air traffic require careful acoustic analyses of noise emissions from aircraft. We prepare assessments for approval and planning procedures of airports and landing sites (e.g. for helicopters). Aircraft noise calculations are conducted in accordance with the Guideline for the Calculation of Noise Abatement Areas (AzB), the LAI landing site noise guideline LAI-115 and DIN 45684. The sound levels are compared against the criteria set by the Aircraft Noise Protection Act or the orientation values of DIN 18005. Aircraft noise considerations are also important for drone air shows. Additionally, we provide forecasts and measurements to ensure effective immission control.

Our services

  • Aircraft noise calculation
  • Sound propagation calculation
  • Investigation of the immission points for flight operations
  • Visualisation of aircraft noise in noise charts
  • Forecast of aircraft noise during light show with drones
  • Noise measurements during light shows with drones
  • Immission control assessments of drone air shows, e.g. according to the LAI recreational noise guideline
