From hedge trimmers to large wheel loaders, outdoor-operated devices and machines are ubiquitous and often quite loud. They are essential for productivity on construction sites, municipal services, and professional building projects, and are valuable helpers in home gardening.

At the European level, Directive 2000/14/EC regulates the labelling requirements for 57 types of machinery and equipment, and in some cases, sets maximum permissible noise emissions for products such as:

Municipal winter service equipment

At TÜV NORD Umweltschutz, you benefit from our many years of experience and extensive metrological equipment. Our expertise is underlined by DAkkS accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, which guarantees the highest standards in quality assurance. In addition, we are notified in accordance with § 29b for measurements in accordance with § 26 and § 28 of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and recognised as a sound insulation test centre for building acoustics by the Association of Materials Testing Offices (VMPA).
