As an accredited measuring body, TÜV NORD Umweltschutz offers noise forecasts and measurements for sports and leisure facilities. With our expertise, we support you in the planning of your facility or in the realisation of your event.
Sport activities and recreational events often generate noise emissions that can lead to conflicts with residential neighborhoods.
Noise impacts from sports or recreational facilities require special assessment according to the Sports Facility Noise Protection Ordinance (18th BImSchV) and the Leisure Noise Directive.
We support you in planning your sports/recreational facility and conducting your event with noise forecasts, sound level measurements, and proposals for appropriate noise protection measures.

Our expertise is underlined by DAkkS accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, which guarantees the highest standards in quality assurance. In addition, we are notified in accordance with § 29b for measurements in accordance with § 26 and § 28 of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and recognised as a sound insulation test centre for building acoustics by the Association of Materials Testing Offices (VMPA).
