Driving school training is the best prerequisite for a good and successful driving test. Therefore, work closely with your driving school and use the driving instructor as a guide.
We have also put together some information and tips that can help with the upcoming driving test:
- Come to the test well rested and plan enough time for the journey to the appointment.
- Stimulants or tranquillisers will not help you.
- Wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
- Don't put yourself under too much pressure to succeed and don't let others put you under pressure either. It is often helpful not to tell every friend or acquaintance about your exam date straight away.
- Don't let anyone pressure you into a hasty test date. Trust your driving school - they know when you are ready for your driving licence.
- Develop a positive attitude towards the upcoming test. You can finally show what you have learnt.
- The expert from TÜV NORD is on your side. We won't lead you up the garden path or set any traps.
- If you have any questions about the test - we'll be happy to answer them.
- If you didn't understand the expert during the test, don't hesitate to ask.
- Don't constantly assess your own performance during the test - this could cause you unnecessary anxiety.
- You are allowed to repeat many driving tasks at least once. So stay calm and focussed, even if you haven't mastered a situation perfectly straight away.
- You can compensate for minor mistakes and uncertainties by performing well.
- Always remember: We want you to be successful.
