Current TSI.PROFESSIONALS

Requirements catalog

  • Participation in TSI.PROFESSIONAL training (or TSI.PROFESSIONAL update training for status extension) and
  • successful completion of the examination following the TSI.PROFESSIONAL training.


If the additional status is awarded, which is acquired as part of the in-depth TSI.INTENSIVE training on the topics of

  • [ACV] refrigeration supply,
  • [POW] energy supply,
  • [SEC/FIR] safety systems/organisations and fire detection and extinguishing technology and
  • [EN/ISO] EN 50600 & ISO/IEC 22237

is awarded, the TSI.PROFESSIONAL:

  • at least three years of relevant professional experience in the data centre environment (e.g. as a data center planner, data centre consultant, data center operator, or similar) in the relevant technical trades of energy supply or refrigeration and air conditioning technology (a meaningful CV with corresponding proof of qualifications and/or experience must be submitted in advance),
  • actively participated in the commissioned TSI.INTENSIVE training programme and
  • successfully completed the specific examination.


TSI.PROFESSIONALS do not work on behalf of TÜV NORD and are not TSI inspectors or experts authorised by TÜV NORD. Furthermore, no statement is made regarding the specific specialist qualifications of TSI.PROFESSIONALS.

The TSI.PROFESSIONAL status is valid for 24 months and can be extended for a further 24 months as part of a one-day TSI.PROFESSIONAL update training course.

Please note that participation in our training courses does not automatically entitle you to independently conduct inspections or audits of data centers. The decision regarding professional suitability and the assignment as an auditor or inspector is made exclusively by the responsible certification body. In addition to theoretical qualifications, further practical experience, competencies, and formal recognition are generally required for these roles.
