What is the e-sticker?

Like German electric cars, electric cars registered abroad can benefit from special privileges. These privileges require labelling in the form of an e-sticker.

The advantages for users of the vehicles are as follows:

  • The parking of vehicles on public roads or paths and the associated charges,
  • the use of specially designated public roads, paths or parts thereof,
  • the granting of exemptions from transit bans

The above benefits are only valid if they are appropriately signposted or arranged.
