TÜV NORD LUXEMBOURG S.à r.l. was established in December 2011 as a member of the TÜV NORD GROUP. The company is headquartered in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Supported by the global TÜV NORD network, TÜV NORD LUXEMBOURG S.à r.l. offers EC conformity assessments in the railway sector in accordance with the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI). The EC conformity assessments are carried out in accordance with the European ‘Interoperability Directives’ 2008/57/EC and (EU) 2016/797 in the following structural subsystems:
Based on its accreditation as a certification body in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065 by the German Accreditation Body DAkkS, TÜV NORD LUXEMBOURG S.à r.l. is notified as a Notified Body for Railway Interoperability (NoBo; organisme notifié) under the identification number NB 2411.
In addition, TÜV NORD LUXEMBOURG S.à r.l. is recognised as a Designated Body (DeBo; organisme compétent) by the Administration des Chemins de Fer in Luxembourg for conformity assessment in accordance with the notified Luxembourg national technical rules.
