With the growing digitization and interconnectedness of road vehicles, there are inherent opportunities as well as risks. It is imperative for the automotive industry to safeguard both vehicles and passengers against the threat of cyber attacks. Since vehicle manufacturers rely on specialized suppliers for security-relevant components and systems, these suppliers must also demonstrate the use of a cybersecurity management system (CSMS).

ISO/SAE 21434 is mainly concerned with the determination and evaluation of critical items and their risks over the entire life cycle, from development down to decommissioning. The main focus is on “Threat analysis and risk assessment” (TARA) methods, which are intended to ensure the effectiveness of the (CSMS). 

In this webinar, we aim to provide you with a deeper understanding of ISO/SAE 21434, with a specific focus on TARA and its methodology.
